Merry Christmas

My Husband asked me this year as I was rushing, once again, to finish my cards and get them in the mail for Christmas why I can't just keep them simple.  My 9 year old daughter turned to him and replied "Dad, for Mom that is simple."

I guess I always love to make special cards for special people on their birthdays and Christmas is the celebration of the birth of my Saviour, so the Christmas cards I send out are His birthday cards.  He is the most special person in my life so I feel it necessary to make him a special birthday card.

I do have a tutorial somewhere on how to make the perfect circle outline with the Circle Scissors Plus and will try my best to remember to put it up once things slow down after the holidays.

I wish you all a very Merry CHRISTmas and pray that you have all accepted Christ as your Saviour and are enjoying the true meaning of Christmas.

  1. Debbi, I love your daughter's answer! This card is even more gorgeous in person! Thank you for sending one to me. It's in my RAK gallery and on my blog. You are a true artist. May God richly bless you and your family on this most wonderful CHRISTmas season.

  2. Very pretty card. Love your post. We need to remember the true meaning of CHRISTmas. Have a blessed one and that for sharing.
