Photography Thank You

I asked a gentleman I know if he could come in to our Home-School classes (we meet once a month for special group classes) and talk to our teens about photography. I was hoping I would learn something too :). So then I got the opportunity to make a Thank You card for him from the group and here is what I came up with. I was debating between anything with the filmstrip and the punch cameras so I decided to merge them both and put the punch camera in the filmstrip. I needed to add the stars so it looks like the flashes were going off. I sponged around the whole front of the card and around each of the white boxes on the filmstrip. I used the crop-a-dile to punch the hole in the center of the smaller circle. This was a fun card to make and I know he will enjoy it!

Botty Birthday

This card was fun to make. If it wasn't for my unsteady coloring I would love it. I did not even realize that the double circle punch retired until I posted this card (boo hoo) I love it to make faux brads. It might be one I have to hold on to for a while...

Green Galore

Sorry, My oldest son at home had to have his wisdom teeth surgically removed yesterday. He is a hurting! We had to leave very early yesterday morning. The roads were horrible, even the interstate. Cars were in the ditch everywhere. What was to be a 1 hour drive took over 2 hours. So today I am combining the Sketch Challenge with the Color Challenge. After I laid down the designer paper I knew I could not cover it up with as much as the sketch made it out. So I decided to use the My way Punch that way the DSP could peek out some more. I colored the happy birthday with the markers and the flower I stamped in the Green Galore and rolled the tips in the Tempting Turquoise.
Stamps: Think Happy Thoughts, Simple Serif Alphabet & Numbers
Paper: Tempting Turquoise, Kraft, Whisper White, Green Galore
Ink: Green Galore, Tempting Turquoise

Catalog Case 114

So today I decided just to open the catalog and Case (Copy and Steal Everything) the first card I saw. The catalog opened to page 114. Thankfully I had that set so I could be closer. I did change the colors and a few small elements. I do not have a lot of buttons so I replaced it with the build a brads. It is hard to tell but I used So Saffron Craft ink and stamps the flowers on the night of navy in the build a brad.
Stamps: All in a Row
Paper: Brocade Blue, Night of Navy, So Saffron, Cameo Coral
Ink: So Saffron Craft, Night of Navy, Cameo Coral
Accessories: Scallop Punch, 5 Petal Flower Punch, My Way Punch, 1/4" circle punch, Build a Brad, 1/2" Circle Punch, Apricot Appeal 1/4" Grosgrain Ribbon
