Mr. Moose Birthday

I needed a quick manly birthday card and my Mr. Moose seems to be my go to guy for that occasion.  I embossed the Moose.  I find it easiest to stamp before using the Framelits.  That way I can layout the cut just where I want it to be.

Paper Size: A2 4.25" x 5.5"

Silver Moose

I had mentioned this tip a while back and someone asked me to give more detail.  I love the Framelits but sometimes the space between is just too much, so this will give you a smaller gap.

I used the Six Sided Sampler was used for the inside of the Build-a-Brad.  I rubbed a sponge of Smoky Slate over the embossed image to shadow it a bit more.

Mr. Moose at Sunset

As you can tell I really like this moose!  I was making a card the other day and my 11 yr old DD told me how much she loved the backside of the DSP I was using.  So I promised her the next card that I made I would use that paper.  I added the sunset to bring the colors into the main image.  The circles alone were just not enough so I added the Lattice (with a bit of trimming) between.  The paper was so fun and not too dark to use for my sentiment too.

Details:
Stamps: Walk in the Wild
Paper: Early Espresso, Very Vanilla, Tangerine Tango, Venetian Romance
Ink: Early Espresso, Daffodil Delight, Tangerine Tango
Accessories: Big Shot, Circle Collection framelits, Lattice Die, Large Oval Punch, Decorative Label Punch

Mr. Moose

Well, Monday was my birthday.  The only thing that could have made it better is if my SU order would have come in. ;-)  So I did all of my chores on Monday so when my order came in on Tuesday I had nothing to stop me from stamping.  One of my "Must have" sets was the Walk in the Wild.  I think it will make great masculine cards.  I tried a new fold here and I really liked the way it turned out.  I am not usually one to use the hostess sets but Express Yourself  is so great I know I will use it a lot this next year.

Stamps: Walk in the Wild, Express Yourself
Paper: Early Espresso, Very Vanilla, Early Espresso Core'dinations
Ink: Early Espresso
Accessories: Big Shot, Chevron Embossing Folder, Word Window Punch, Modern Label Punch, Labels Collection Framelit, Piercing Template

Wild Pheasant

What a great simple sketch! I love this Walk in the Wild set and I know it will get plenty of use this next year. After I had the card finished my son said the top back ground was to bare.  So I punched some leaves and used the cut out as a stencil template to sponge some leaves. I colored the pheasant in with the ink pads and aqua painters.  The image and sentiment are popped up with dimensionals.

Stamps: Walk in the Wild
Paper: Gumball Green, Early Espresso, Early Espresso Core'Dination, Epic Day This and That DSP
Ink: Early Espresso, Gumball Green, Crushed Curry, Calypso Coral, Cherry Cobbler
Accessories: Extra Wide Oval Punch, Oval Punch, Piercing Template and Tool, Big Shot, Chevron Embossing Folder, Tasteful Trim Die, Natural Trim
