Glamorous Birthday
My daughter needed a card for a friend and her only request was lots of sparkle. I thought this fit the request. I am a hoarder when it comes to my glimmer paper (but yet I love to use it!). So the glimmer paper behind the card front I cut the center out of so I could use it elsewhere. I randomly stamped the flowers on the front and then ran it through the Bigshot. I not only sponged around the out side but did a few swipes across the top. The sentiment is popped up on dimensionals. It is also embossed in silver.

Trees
Well, I looked it up when I got this set out. I bought it in 2001. So I have had it for just about 12 years and it is still a very popular set. Here I embossed the image in black and sponged some color here and there. I ran the thin edge of the marker along one side of each tree to bring the brown together. Since Early Espresso came out I have made that my go to brown. I need to place an order and decided to spare my EE and go back to using more Chocolate Chip. It still works just fine ;-)

Wedding Couple
Boy are there a lot of weddings this summer! I have wanted to do a card like this for a long time. Since I bought the Dress Up Framelit I could now put my idea to a try. To do the dress I just cut numerous sections of the bottom portion and glued them behind. After it was all glued together I ran it through the Big Shot with the embossing folder. The man's shirt and suit collars was made with the Pennant Punch, even the side tie sections. I do not have a punch small enough to do the circle for the tie so I used my Crop-a-dile (the big side). The flowers are much prettier in person. They do have Dazzling Diamonds in them so they have a nice sparkle. The dress was also sprayed with a bit of sparkle to give it a bit of a shimmer. To do the tux buttons, I just colored them with a black sharpie marker. I used a couple of Dimensionals behind the sentiment.

Calypso Floral
The Clay is s so great to work with. When I first got my order in I was just home from the hospital and the surgery had taken all of my energy. I had these new toys just begging to be worked with. So I had my 11 yr old daughter do what I wanted to do step by step. She had great flowers and buttons the first try. I think I could use Calypso every day!

Wedding Heart Ring
I wanted to do a card with layers of hearts. I lined up the Framelits and cut the card front. I then embossed the floral across the front and pulled out every other heart. The front and the hearts are popped up on dimensionals. This card is a combo of old and new.The Tiny Tags is retiring the end of the month but the Label Love set and the clay flowers are in the new catalog. I am in love with the clay flowers (and buttons). They are flexible and easy to make how you want them. They can be colored or glittered (like I did here) You will see them a lot on up-coming cards!

Sketch Challenge Sneak Peak
My pre-order from the new catalog came in yesterday. One of the great perks of being a Stampin' Up! Demonstrator!! So being that I am going in for surgery tomorrow and I do not know when I will have the opportunity to stamp for a while I had to get up early this morning and play with my new toys. I am always in need of manly cards and I though this new set would cover that basis. The lighter brown is one of the new In Colors and it is called Baked Brown Sugar. You know I love, love, love punches and just had to get a couple of the new ones. Off to take my kids to band and go through my new catalog once again and work on my ever growing wish list.

Paper: Early Espresso, Baked Brown Sugar, Garden Green, Vey Vanilla |
Ink: Early Espresso, Baked Brown Sugar, Garden Green |
