Faith

Tis the time to stock up on boards while the weather is still nice. I love doing these early on the morning. This is on a piece of paper I have on my bulletin board in my office. Time to hang it on the wall.

Prayer

Well, life has changed big time here.  After 23 yrs of being a stay at home mom I was offered a part time job that I just could not pass up.    I am still able to homeschool the 2 teens I have left at home and have them with me so it is a win, win situation.  It does take time from my crafting but I get up earlier and try to get some projects done.

Rather than a days work to get this type of project done it takes me 3...but I get it done!  

This is all wood and paint and comes with a wall hanger on the back but can also be displayed on a stand (as I have here).  I think one of these will be hanging in my new office very soon.

I will be starting on Christmas cards soon.  I have my design all lined up and my cardstock should be in next week.

Names

My son (turning 14 in about 2 weeks) loves to see his name.  His middle name is combined from 2 of his birth grandparents who where a great influence on his parent's lives. I am a middle name lover. My kids I named all have middle names that have stories or are from loved ones.  I do not think anyone who really spends any time with my family does not know my kid's middle names.  Birthdates and stats can be added but I think it is fun to have something they will want to hang in their rooms for years.

God Makes No Mistakes

For those who do not know. I have a son who is considered "special needs"  He deals sometimes with depression when he cannot do the same things as his siblings or when he makes big plans that he cannot complete.  I tell him almost every day that God makes no mistakes and He has a plan and that His plan is perfect from the beginning.  We are commanded to be content with what we have :Hebrews 13:5 "Let your conversation be without covetousness; and be content with such things as ye have: for he hath said, I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee."  So no matter what struggles my son has, I pray that he knows that God made him perfect just the way he is and that he just needs to seek God's path. Yes, it is that simple!

Key Holder

This was one of the first ones that I made.  I set it on a shelf and forgot it because I loved the way it turned out with all of the paint cracking etc but when I put one of the screw in I cracked the bottom, so I decided to put it at a discounted price and try to find it a good home.

We Will Serve the Lord

I have been playing around with this design in my head for quite some time now. I had some equipment breakdown so had to find a way around it to get this one done. It can be done in various colors, sizes and ways. I love the look of the wood! A great idea for a wedding or house warming gift.

Daddys Home

My husband has been traveling quite a bit for work lately and we have an almost 14 yr old who does not deal with Daddy being gone. I thought this would be a good idea to help him keep track of when Dad will be back. We live in a high military community and can be changed to any term needed. This would be great for kids or spouses. I can also remove " Daddy is Home" and place more chalk board vinyl there so that you can write in different events such as: Vacation, Grandma's visit, end of school etc.

Nativity Countdown

Look what I Made Boards

I have not had much time to make cards as of lately. I do them as needed and still enjoy it but I have added a new craft to my schedule and that has been keeping me pretty busy lately.  One of the perks (or curses) of being my grandchildren is I use you as my craft try outs.
