Get Well Flowers

I needed another get well card for a young lady who is going through foot surgery on both feet. She will be in and out of casts for about 6 months. I figured she could use something bright and pretty. :)

Butterflies again!

This concept I took straight from the new catalog on page 108. For those of you who have not yet seen it, you will love it. I wish list is longer than ever and I cannot wait to order!!! One of the first things I want is the butterfly punch to go with this set. My hands do not work the way I like them to so the matching punch will help me to continue to use this set the way I want.

Ink: Chocolate Chip, So Saffron, More Mustard
Accessories: Tangerine Tango 5/8" Striped Grosgrain Ribbon, Scalloped Edge Punch, Corner Rounder Punch, Pumpkin Pie Corduroy Button, 1" Double Stitched Chocolate Chip Grosgrain Ribbon, Natural Hemp Twine

Butterfly Sketch

Ohh, Ohh, Ohh, I got to do a Sketch Challenge today. I just had to grab my Flight of the Butterfly. I cannot wait until July 1st when I can order the butterfly punch to go with it. Wouldn't this just look so much better if the butterfly was layered and flying? I am determined to use these Flower Fusions as much as I can and I thought they worked perfect with this layout. Since I frayed the ends of the twine I thought it just fitting to use the cuter kit to distress some of the edges.

Stamps: Flight of the Butterfly
Paper: Ruby Red, Chocolate Chip, Kraft, Old Olive, Very Vanilla
Ink: Ruby Red, More Mustard, Chocolate Chip
Accessories: Mat Pack for Piercing,Ticket Corner Punch, Cutter Kit for Distressing, Big Shot Texturz Plate, Button Bouquet Buttons, Natural Hemp Twine, Flower Fusion

Summer Tango

Today I actually took the time to do a Color Challenge. Of course I had to use one of my sets from the new catalog. I did the sun by punching out a 1" circle from scratch paper and using the hole to sponge in some color. I sponged the Pacific Point just around the sides and top of the image sheet. I did sponge around the whole card base with the Tangerine Tango I stamped the pheasant first and then masked it to put the wheat in the background. I so wanted to use the buttons since those colors will retire next week and I once again was hoarding them...

Stamps: Sanded Background, Autumn Days, Teeny Tiny Wishes
Paper: Summer Sun, Pacific Point, Tangerine Tango, Chocolate Chip, Very Vanilla
Ink: Tangerine Tango, Summer Sun, Pacific Point, Chocolate Chip
Accessories: Corduroy Buttons-Pacific Point, Summer Sun, Pumpkin Pie, 3/4" Circle Punch, 1" Circle Punch, Small Oval Punch, Large Oval Punch

I'm Back with Butterflies!

Well, we have completed graduation and I even took a week to re-cooperate. I did get together with some friends and did some stamping last week though. Since I had not had the chance to stamp in so very long I took the great opportunity to browse through other galleries and the new catalog to get some fun ideas. Even though a lot of the next cards are CASE'd (Copy & Steal Everything) I hope you enjoy them and find something you can use on your up coming creations!

I just got this set so you will see that I use it quite a bit...you know new things. I found this card in the SCS gallery by hollicefaith that I thought was so nice but simple enough to multi-make. I do not use my felt flowers since I am a hoarder, so this was a great card that made me break them out. Since they are still in the new catalog I can always order more. I changed the colors up to be able to use the flowers that I chose. I love my Stamp-a-ma-jig!

Sorry

Sorry, My son graduates on the 14th. I have been extremely busy trying to prepare for that. I wrote the play our Home Educators group will be putting on for graduation so I have been busy with preparation for that and practices besides getting ready for a rather large open house (and 2 kids in soccer 3 times a week). I have many cards and home decor projects to post but just do not have the time. I will return!!!! (Thanks for your patience!)
