Oh, Flower

Crumb Cake has become one of my go to colors.  I really like that is is an earthy tone color (my favorite) and that I can use an envelope that matches.  Like I have said, I think I use it more since I found the Crumb Cake envelopes.  I wonder how many things I have missed over the years....I embossed the flower and then colored it with the markers.  I added a few various sized rhinestones randomly.

A Note of Thanks

So I did the piano where I used one sheet of Whisper White and drew the key divisions with a marker.  Even though I liked the end results I know my hands are not steady and did not look forward to reproducing that card.  I had seen some where the keys where the kes were made with the Word Window punch.  I do like the end results better.  This will be a card I can reproduce much easier.  I printed the sentiment from my computer.

In Colors

Another of my Simple Thank You cards I did a while back.  I love how the In Colors go together so well.  It will be sad to see some of them go in June, but I am excited to see what the new ones will be!  Since I "found" the Crumb Cake envelopes I seem to make more cards with a Crumb Cake base.  Do you have a new find that you just cannot stop using?

Coastal Trees

It was such a cooooold morning when I made this card.  I live on a 9 acre wooded lot with lots of beautiful trees which was what drew me to this set to begin with.  So as I look out the window that morning and saw the frost on the trees it chose my colors for me.  Coastal Cabana reminded me that morning of the cold winter weather we had been having.  I stamped the trees and then did some sponging.  I distressed the edges a bit.  The Sentiment is on a Dimensional.

Mr. Moose Birthday

I needed a quick manly birthday card and my Mr. Moose seems to be my go to guy for that occasion.  I embossed the Moose.  I find it easiest to stamp before using the Framelits.  That way I can layout the cut just where I want it to be.

Ducky Birthday

I Have a dear friend who collects ducks so when her birthday (or any occasion) rolls around I find it necessary to make her a duck card.  Now I have been doing this for many years so my creative ducks are running low.  Here is when my Eclips came in handy!  I just found an image I wanted to do, I brought it into my program, broke it apart, sized it how I wanted it, picked out my colors and hit cut.  I thought it was pretty simple and the card turned out pretty cute.

Glamorous Birthday

My daughter needed a card for a friend and her only request was lots of sparkle.  I thought this fit the request.  I am a hoarder when it comes to my glimmer paper (but yet I love to use it!).  So the glimmer paper behind the card front I cut the center out of so I could use it elsewhere.  I randomly stamped the flowers on the front and then ran it through the Bigshot.  I not only sponged around the out side but did a few swipes across the top.  The sentiment is popped up on dimensionals.  It is also embossed in silver.

Details:
Stamps: Oh Hello, Label Love
Paper: Tempting Turquoise, Silver Glimmer Paper
Paper Size: A2 4.25" x 5.5"
Ink: Tempting Turquoise, Versamark

Tigger Birthday

A fun card I made for a birthday a while back.  This is another full size card made from one full 8.5 x 11 piece of cardstock.  We have soooo many birthday around the holidays.  I wanted to make them big so they stood out from the many Christmas cards etc that they were receiving at the same time.  The fun part when making a larger card and wanting it use an embossing folder is finding one that lines up so it can be extending without ruining the pattern.

Stamps: None
Paper: Red Glimmer Paper, Basic Black, Daffodil Delight, Pumpkin Pie, Real Red,
Paper Size: 8.5" x 5.5"
Ink: None
Accessories: Big Shot, Stripes Embossing Folder,Corner Rounder Punch, Sizzix Eclips
