Zellmer Name Frame

Another Name Frame.  The  request on this one was girly and black and pink.  The Flowers are punched, sponged and curled up before adhering them with glue dots.  Pearl centers added just the right bling.  The hearts were punched, sponged and added to the border alternating with the pearls.

Glimmer Butterflies

I needed a wow card that used some of the new and some of the old.  I wanted it to shimmer and sparkle with lots of texture and dimension.  The whole card is sprayed with Shimmer Paint/Rubbing Alcohol Mixture. To do the sentiment I stamped the stamp in the Wisteria Wonder and used the Eggplant Envy Marker to go over the word.

Card Details:
Stamps: Perfect Punches
Paper: Wisteria Wonder, Eggplant Envy, Whisper White
Ink: Wisteria Wonder, Eggplant Envy
Accessories: Big Shot, Beautiful Wings Die, Decorative Label Punch, Oval Punch, Scallop Oval Punch, Lace Ribbon Border Punch, Basic Pearls, Shimmer Paint/Rubbing Alcohol Mixture, Vintage Wallpaper Impression Folder

Father's Day Tie Card

No, I was not this late in mailing this one.  It actually got to him (my father-in-law) on time.  It just took me this long to post it. I always look forward to summer but the my schedule or should I say my children's schedule is just as busy if not more so I look forward to school starting so we can get back to normal, or as normal as this household gets. lol  To do the sentiment I punched the Modern Label Punch in half and layered it behind the sentiment with the oval behind that.  I popped them up with dimensionals.  The Tie I free cut (and it took me a few to get what I wanted).  It is hard to see but it is layered on a Baja Breeze card base.
Card Details:
Stamps:  Plane & Simple
Paper: Baja Breeze, Chocolate Chip, Pacific Point, Very Vanilla, Blueberry Crisp DSP
Ink: Chocolate Chip
Accessories: Big Shot, Square Lattice Impression Folder, Corner Rounder Punch, Modern Label Punch, Oval Punch, Dotted Scallop Ribbon Punch

Dazzling Butterfly

Yes...another Tri-Shutter card, but I think this one is the last one for awhile.  The one thing I love about black and white DSP is that you can run the brayer with ink over it and turn it any color you wish.  This is the retired Love Letter DSP.  This card card for lots of frill and dazzle so I sprayed it down with the Shimmer paint/rubbing alcohol mixture.

Card Details:
Stamps:  Medallion Background, Vintage Vogue
Paper: Love Letter DSP, Perfect Plum, Eggplant Envy, Chocolate Chip, Garden Green, Daffodil Delight
Ink: Eggplant Envy

Sadie Name Frame

Here is the Name frame that I had made the Rattle Card to match.  When I think of the name Sadie, my new niece, I think of a vintage name and just went that way. Since I do not have much for new DSP yet, since she was born the day before the catalog release, I was still using up my last years DSP.  If you visit often you know that I am a punch lover and the new triple punches are GREAT!  It is hard to tell with my images but the letters a sponged (surprised ?!?!) and ran through the big shot with an impression folder.
Card Details:
Stamps: None
Paper: Blueberry Crisp DSP, Soft Suede, Garden Green, Marina Mist
Ink: Sponging-Soft Suede, Garden Green, Marina Mist
Accessories: Big Shot, Naturally Serif Alphabet Die, Serif Essentials Alphabet Die, Perfect Polka Dots Impression Folder, Lace Ribbon Border Punch, Blossom Bouquet Triple Layer Punch, X-lg Oval Punch, Bird Builder Punch, Basic Pearls, Marina Mist 1/8" Taffeta Ribbon, Itty Bitty Shapes Punch

Baby Rattle

I was in the need of a baby card for a little girl....so I went blue?!?!  The reason was I also did a name frame, which you will see on Friday, and I wanted the card to go with the frame.  I make my frames so that they hopefully will grow with them so I try not to do them in a babyish manner.  So the card took on that look to begin with.  I think the rattle made it turn back to the baby card and the ruffles gave it a feminine look.  I love, love, love the new Lace Ribbon Border Punch.  I have not been able to stop using it.

Card Details:
Stamps:  Short & Sweet
Paper: Soft Suede, Baja Breeze, Not Quiet Navy, Blueberry Crisp DSP
Ink: Not Quiet Navy
Accessories: Big Shot, Framed Tulips Embossing Folder, Lace Ribbon Border Punch, Eyelet Border Punch,  1-3/4" Circle Punch, 3/4" Circle Punch, 1/2" Circle Punch, Marina Mist 1/8" Taffeta Ribbon, Basic Pearls

Father's Day Tri-Shutter Card

This one was made right before the retiring list came out.  The Cogs punch was a punch I just "had" to have.  This was the first time (and last) that I used it. I had to use the eagle on this card since my father has collected eagles for many years.  He loved it.

Ink: Chocolate Chip

Eagle Sketch

I have been able to make at least one card a week but then I do not have time to post them.  I just looked and I have close to 10 drafts set up with images and need to take a day to sit down and add the details.  Let's see what I can get done today. Maybe I won't seem like such a bad blogger.  I have been super busy with weddings and baby name frames. Hopefully I got good enough pictures and will get them up in the next few weeks.
I Love this eagle and just feel like he need to be cut out and popped up to give him dimension.

Card Details:
Stamps:  In Wilderness, French Foliage, A Word for You
Paper: Chocolate Chip, Crumb Cake
Ink: Chocolate Chip, Very Vanilla Craft
Accessories: Big Shot, Clear Embossing Powder on Sentiment, Decorative Label Punch, Vintage Wallpaper Embossing Folder, Piercing Tool, Chocolate Chip 1/4" Grosgrain Ribbon
