Baby Duckies

I never have enough baby cards so usually when I make one I try to make a girl and boy version.  I have not been drawn to a baby set like this one in many years.  Since they offered the set and the framelits it was hard to pass up.

They are available separately or at a bundle price. Such an easy way to get great simple baby cards.  I used the Work of Art chevron to make my background.  I did have to use my Stamp-a-ma-jig to get things lined up.  I used the Retired set One in a Million for the word Baby.  That will be a set I am going to have problems letting go (along with a few other word sets)
If you noticed there is also a piercing template that goes with this set.   Which adds just that perfect extra touch.
Another of my favorite products is the Thick Baker's Twine.  I am drawn to making cards in the colors I have. Lol

I saw a card like this a few months ago and thought it was soo cute. Simple and quick was my thought.   Once again now that I had time to make it I could not find it to give credit to the original designer.  Thanks for the inspiration.  There are so many great ideas for cards out there!!!

Baby Flipped

These flip card are so fun.  I just had to make a baby one.  To do the BABY: I first stamped the words then I punched as close to the bottom as I could get with the Decorative Label Punch.  Next I put it in the punch again and punched as close to the top as I could.  I did have to use a scissors and trim off a knob on each side.  The Onsie, rattle and Scallop Circles I did in my ecutter.

Flipped Wedding

So Thursday is my bill paying day so I usually do not get a time to stamp.  I had an order come in and it had some great new products in it.  I was gone all yesterday afternoon and it was killing me to know all of these new toys were sitting on my desk waiting to be used. (Yes, I told DH that I could not leave until I at least unpacked the box and touched each and every one. Lol

So right away this morning I had to get up and make a card.  Can you tell I love making Wedding cards????  When I first saw the Flip Cards I was kind of stumped as I wanted to be able to have an inside and a place to sign all of our names.  That takes more than a small spot.  So last week, as I was waiting for my order, someone shared a link to Patty Bennet's blog where she posted a video on how to extend the card.  It answered my problem!

You will see many Flip cards in the future!!!!  I did order both sets but the Label one was on back order and should arrive next week!

Silver Wedding

Ok, I am addicted to making Wedding Cards. ;-)  What I need to get is a good Happy Anniversary stamp.  I could have just printed one but I really wanted to emboss it and that would not have worked.

What started this card was that I woke up this morning wanting to emboss the Paper Doilies.  So I started there.  I had to get a few chores done around the house so I finished a job and added an element, finished a chore and added more to the card.I finished the card long before I finished my chores.  Lol

Sparkly Wedding

So I have had plenty of time to be thinking of some designs while reco-oping from this surgery.  The wedding season is coming up fast. I think we have 5 to attend this summer, including our son's.  I love all of the shine and sparkle in this card!  I used the new Smoky Slate ink and I think it goes great with the silver embossing and the silver glimmer paper!

Spec-taclular

My 10yr old Daughter LOVES glasses.  She has lots of sunglasses and fake clear lens glasses.  The wilder and brighter the better for her. I suppose being the only girl with 5 older brothers brings this out more in her. So when I saw this set I just has to have it, if even just to make cards for her.  When I made this card yesterday she asked if it was her birthday card (which isn't until May) Lol.  I used the Stamp-a-ma-jig to line up the stamp to fill the whole card front.  I then used the Versa marker to color in one pair of glasses.  I heat embossed with Heat n Stick and Dazzling Diamonds.  I used the marker to get just the words that I wanted for the sentiment.
