Circle Theme Birthday

So the Limited Supplies Challenge today was to do circles. I embossed the Sentiment and star in the center. Here are the rules we had to follow: Limits:
Stamps: circles + a sentiment (optional)
*** Flowers are not considered circles, but a circle stamp may have flowers or other images on it.
Paper: any colors, No designer paper
Ink: any
Punches: round only
ALL embellishments (including ribbon) must be in circle form (i.e., brads, eyelets, a circle or ring of glitter, etc.).
No limit on layers
The card itself does not have to be a circle. It can be a normal card.

Since the Scallop punch is actually named the Scallop Circle Punch (see the word circle) I figured it was fine to use. I think I had to re-do this card at least 10 times before it was good enough to post. I had to make up my left over cards from my workshop last night so my stamping time is all used up for the day. Life must go on. Have a great weekend!

Stamps: Spot On Jumbo Wheel, Think Lots Of Thoughts, Starstruck
Paper: Cameo Coral, Really Rust
Ink: Cameo Coral, Really Rust
Accessories: Crystal Clear Embossing Powder, 1" Circle Punch, 3/4" Circle Punch. Scallop Circle Punch, 1 1/4" Circle Punch 1 3/8" Circle Punch, Copper Eyelet, Corner Rounder

Good Times

So today I used the Sketch Challenge as my guide. I know I put the #4 slightly higher than the sketch but I believe we are allowed a little creative license. The cowboy is stamped on the textured paper to give it just a little more. I love that I can punch out the "one and only" from the Genuine stamp to make it say whatever I want. It is great that the stamps for the Celebrate Everything fits in there perfect!

Stamps: Bronc Buster, Starstruck, Celebrate Everything
Paper: Wild Wasabi, River Rock Textured and not, Chocolate Chip
Ink: Wild Wasabi, Chocolate Chip
Accessories: Wide Choclate Chip Grosgrain Ribbon, Word Window Punch, Corner Rounder, Small Star Punch

Wishing Star

Well today I did not use a challenge on SCS, shocker. I needed a specific kind of card and wanted to use some of the Pattern Print designer paper. I wanted to keep it simple too. So this is what I came up with. I made the brackets with the round tab punch. I started with the colors I wanted, made the layout, choose my stamps and went from there.
Stamps: Starstruck, Star Studded Season, Define Your Life
Paper: Old Olive, Certainly Celery and Rose Red Prints Designer Paper, Very Vanilla
Ink: Purely Pomegranate, Old Olive, Certainly Celery
Accessories: Round Tab Punch, Ticket Corner Punch

Starstruck

S0 this card was made for today's Sketch Challenge on SCS. I am not a snow person (and choose to live in Wisconsin...go figure). I am addicted to punches and just had to have the Snow Blossom punch. I am always looking for other ways to use it. I still am undecided if this card is too busy or not. The Snow Blossom star is popped up with a glue dot. I am always short on guy cards so this set will be great for that!

Stamps: Sanded Background, Bronc Buster, Starstruck, Short and Sweet
Paper: Chocolate Chip, More Mustard, Very Vanilla
Ink: Craft and Classic Chocolate Chip, More Mustard Classic
Accessories: Clear Embossing Powder, Snow Blossom Punch, Star Punch,Ticket Corner Punch, Double Circle Punch for faux eyelets, More Mustard Grosgrain, Chocolate Chip Taffeta, Natural Hemp Twine, Hodgepodge Hardware

Flannel Flower

Today's Challenge on SCS was the Ways to Use it Challenge. The challenge was to use a pin. I love the New Pretties kit but I hate to use it. I'm a hoarder, I think it is great but always want it to be there. So today I used one of the hat pins. I stamped the star in craft ink and embossed with clear embossing powder. The Chocolate Chip is roughed around the edges. I used the mat pack from the tool kit to do the piercing around the Creamy Caramel. I left the pick in the hole and turned just a notch to keep them lined up. I used the same thing with the scallop punch. I lined up the corner of the mat with the edge of the scallop. The flower head is stuck down with a pop up glue dot. I used the corner rounder to do the scalloped edge and roughed up the rest of the sides. The Wish Big is embossed. My flowers on my deck are so pretty in the morning I cannot help but share them along with this card.
Stamps: Starstruck, Flannel Background, Baroque Motifs, Short & Sweet
Paper: Chocolate Chip, Ruby Red, Creamy Caramel, Very Vanilla
Ink: Ruby Red Craft & Classic, Chocolate Chip Craft and Classic
Accessories: Pin from Pretties Kit, Clear Embossing powder 3/4", 1", 1 1/4" Circle Punch, , Scallop Circle Punch, Double Rectangle Punch, Corner Rounder for Scalloped edge, Cutter Kit for roughing edges, Rhinestone brad from Pretties Kit
