Double Window Card

So the Ways to Use Challenge today was to do a window card. I know they did not actually mean a window, but a part of the card that was punched/cut out to make the inside visible. I just could not get this idea out of my head. So I did a double window card. I know I used a lot of different sets...not like me. When my DH and I were first married , 23 yrs next month, we lived in an old farm house. When I first got this Afternoon Tea Designer Paper in the upcoming Occasions mini, it reminded me of the wallpaper in one of the bedrooms. I just had to have it. So when I saw this challenge it just sparked this card to use that paper as the wallpaper in the room. I'm still trying to use sets I have not grabbed in a very long time.
First I used the Totally Tabs. I then punched it out with the Round Tab punch and cut off the edge. For the lace on the window I punched with the 1 3/8" Circle punch and then punched again with the Scallop Circle punch. I snipped the scallop with the scissors and straightened it out. I used the 1/16" circle punch to put the holes in the lace.
I then used my Aquapens and re-inkers to colors the image. It is hard to see but I used the versamarker, heat and stick powder and Dazzling Diamonds on the snow falling, on the ground and the snowman.
I then used the 1 3/8" Circle punch to punch a hole in the card. I used the 1 1/4"to punch out the Think Happy Thoughts, which was stamped with Chocolate Chip Craft ink and embossed with Hologram Highlights. I stamped the Little pieces with the Versamark ink and embossed again with Hologram Highlights before I punched and put on the build-a-brad. I cut a slit (which is straight, angle of pic makes it look slanted) and wrapped my ribbon through the punched window and slit.
Boy, this is the longest I have ever posted!
