Scallop Punch

Boy did I have troubles with the Color Challenge today. I am just in a slump. I was sick yesterday and I guess my brain is still in a slump. I did this card twice and did not like the first one (see bottom of post) so I took it apart and re-did it. Now I think I liked the first one better. I guess I should just take some more meds and go back to bed....My new catalog order will be coming in today so I will have new toys to play with tomorrow. I did not order much as I am saving for February Sale-a-bration. Maybe fresh stuff will get me going again.

This is the one I re-did....should I have just left it? I only re-did the side top layer. The inside is exactly the same.

  1. well I actually like the revised version better but both are great cards - I'll have to try this color challenge!

  2. I can't tell which one I like better! Are the pics on the top the same card? The scallop "bite" out of the front of the card is such a cool idea. I like both cards! It's easy to be self-critical but I think both are very nice and I'd be happy to receive either one. If I had to pick, I'd go with the one on the bottom.

  4. Both are great but I think the new one allows the focal point to stand out more. Fab! Love the way the scallop takes a "bite" out of the card!

  9. I love the way you incorporated the scalloped punch into the cover and the actual scalloped accent is on the inside...veeery clever.
