Blingaliscious

So today's challenge on SCS was the Ways to Use it Challenge. The challenge was to make it sparkle with as much glitz and glam that you could. This card is in memory of my favorite Bling travel mug that was broke when I fell down the stairs on Monday... The background is done on Glossy cardstock. The Dazzling Diamond Dust background is hard to photograph. I stamped the images I wanted, covered the whole sheet with versamark and Iridescent Ice Embossing Powder and then heated. The scalloped edges were done with the corner rounder and then ran through the crimper.

I stamped the flower off once before stamping on the cardstock to give it one lighter tone. I then stamped the word Cherish in craft in and embossed with clear embossing powder. At first I had just pierced around each scallop. I then decided I wanted to add more bling. I just happen to have a container of purple and clear bling for my cell phone in my drawer. I backed it up with a Mellow Moss scallop and mounted with a pop up glue dot.

I added the photo corner punch at the last minute. I thought that corner was missing something. I decided it needed to be crimped also since the rest of the card had dimension, flat just would not do. I just had to add one more piece of bling.
