Stars

I got this concept from a card I saw in Paper Crafts magazine. It was a card made by Eleonor McGarry. Hey, I did not use the big shot for anything on this card. That is a challenge in itself for me. I cut the squares 1" x 1".

Stamps: Classic Stars Jumbo Wheel, Heard from the Heart
Paper: Apricot Appeal, Old Olive, Patterns Designer Series Paper: Pumpkin Pie, Riding Hood Red, Old Olive, Bashful Blue

Dino Myte

I never have enough kids cards and plenty of kids to send cards to so that was my reason for today's card. Plus I really need to finish another design for my workshop next week. I kept it pretty simple but wanted it bright and bold.

Stamps: Classic Stars Jumbo Wheel, Prehistoric Pals, Short & Sweet
Paper: Brilliant Blue, Bashful Blue, Pumpkin Pie, Whisper White, Kissing Kiwi
Ink: Pumpkin Pie, Bashful Blue, Brilliant Blue, Kissing Kiwi
Accessories: Striped Pumpkin Pie Grosgrain

Graduation Thank You Card

So my friends informed me I had to make a wow card for a Thank you (Thanks Julie & Lisa!). Two of my kids graduated from Kindergarten this week. So I was wondering if I had to send two thank you cards to everyone who gave them each a gift? This is how I decided to cover all on the bases. I consider this a wow card and I can put Seth's thank you on the top (since he is a year older) and Shelby's on the bottom. That way it is like two cards in one....do you think I can get away with that? You can find a tutorial on how to do the slider cards here. They are so much fun to make. If you have any troubles either e-mail me or ask in the comment section.

Stamps: Elementary Essentials, Classic Stars Jumbo Wheel, Short and Sweet
Paper: Taken with Teal, Tempting Turquoise, Whisper White, Cameo Coral
Ink: Taken with Teal, Tempting Turquoise, Basic Gray, Cameo Coral
Accessories: 1 3/8" Square Punch, 1 3/8" Circle Punch, Spiral Punch, Corner Rounder

Have a WONDERFUL Weekend!

Congrats Stars

This was a fun card to make! This was for a demo challenge. Once a month two sketches and 3 color combos are posted. You have to put something together from those options. I do not visit there as often as I would like. There are only so many challenges a girl can do on limited time. I always love it when I get a chance. I need to read the directions on my crop-a-dile better. Every now and them I am butchering my eyelets because I just grab and do not pay attention to what setting I have it on. I guess it is tunnel vision...

Card details to be posted very soon!

I colored those with the markers to get the various colors from the same stamp.I ran the Really Red wide Grosgrain across the back. I am loving the wide stuff, just check out my last few posts...I think I have used it quite a bit the last few days.
